I'll be happy to tell you what I know. For starters, John William Mercer was my great-great-grandfather. His son, William Kinsey Mercer was my great-grandfather. His son William (or Willie) Jasper Mercer was my grandfather. His son William Sylvester Mercer is my father. I am Wiliam Bradford Mercer. My son is William Wesley Mercer. I have managed to impose upon him a ridiculous sense of obligation to have a son and name him William something.
