Hi Michael;
My 4th great grandfather was also a Menzie with no s. He and his wife Ann McGregor were definitely Scottish being both born near Aberfeldy in Perthshire, Scotland. They arrived in New York State in 1802 and raised a family there. One of the sons, Robert, married Catherine MacPherson and they subsequently emigrated to Canada settling at Glen Morris, Ont. My purpose in telling you this is to let you know that we are Scottish and we are part of the Menzies clan, and since there are not too many of us without the "S", you may be connected to my line. If you are, I may be able to help. Good luck!
