A biography/family history of Henry S. Mendenhall is included in "Montana, Its Story & Biography", Vol 2, page 168
Parents: Joseph F. & Henrietta (Deadman) Mendenhall, born in Ohio & Indiana, respectively. Henry was educated in the schools of Christian & Stone Counties of Missouri. Henry married Miss Vollie E. Ailshie, at Galena, Missouri, in 1899. She was the daughter of James & Mary (Deshazer) Ailshie of Hurley, Missouri. Children: Earl Ross & Ava. In 1913, Henry moved to Billings, MT.
