Hi David,
I have south Jersey Quaker lines & may additionally tie into the Mendenhalls, if I can document a specific couple as parents for one of my brickwalls.
The south Jersey Quakers & Baptists & the SE Pennsylvania Quakers & Baptists were closely related. There was a lot of intermarriage back & forth across the Delaware. My guess is that Cutburt/etc. will eventually work back to Cuthburt, etc., as that was an early family with a strong presence in the PA/NJ area.
Additionally, you may want to look into Wrightsboro/Wrightborough, a Quaker setlement in Georgia.
some residents include:
Buffington, Esther 1756 Joseph Evans/Peter & Hannah (Waite)
Buffington, Peter 1723 Hannah Waite/Richard Buffington & Phoebe (Grubb)
Buffington, Peter 1753 Sarah Mooney/Peter & Hannah (Waite)
Buffington, Sarah 1772 Isaac Hart/Peter & Hannah (Waite)
Galbreath, Elizabeth Henry Jones
Galbreath, John Sarah Sanders
A lot of these families had northern branches who went west through Ohio, & southern branches, but some of the southern branches also doubled back to Ohio, later.(around 1800 to 1820)
