Hello Menapaces - it has been some time since I checked in on this board and I am hoping it is still active. Our father was born in Mt. Carmel, PA and our grandfather had a bakery in town. On and off over the years I have looked in to our geneology and recently spoke with a local geneoloigist who suggested that our family may well have origins with the Menapii tribe, some of whom settled in the Sudtirol. Has anyone else found similar information?
