I hope everyone continues to write down little quips as well as facts and figures about family life and stories about our ancestors... put them in a binder and keep for future generations but mostly every time you get a chance, you should tell some of these stories to your grandchildren...My little ones and teen age grands love to hear these stories and they are usually spellbound from opening to the closing of the story.....Even if it only a story about your moms favorite dish that she loved to cook.....such as corn meal dumplings that my mom loved to make....they were so good that you had to tie your tongue to the table leg to keep from swallowing it...And I love stories that people tell about their experience with a family member or a past friend that resulted in them not speaking to each other or seeing each other for many years and then getting back together. forgivness sometimes is the hardest thing in the world to do or to admit we are wrong about something..But what a really good feeling when we finally, as my Mom would say, would "kiss and make up"...dont we all miss our MOMS.......have a good day..
