Songs sung in grade schools in the 1950s

My favorite subject in grade school was music. I remember the brown music book. I wish that I remembered more of the songs that we sang. I only remember a few My Darling Clementine; She Will be Coming Around the Mountain; a few parotic songs and Old McDonald Had a Farm. Then there were some French songs.....El-wetta?...Dor-may voo?...well something like that and of course, we sung the do-re-me scale....The songs are just out of my memory.

Do you remember the songs that you sung in grade school?
Maybe, you can jog my memory.
