Carmellow Candy

On Christmas morning we would find a special treat, besides all the other goodies in our Christmas stockings. Santa would always leave a couple pieces of Carmellow candy. They were individually wrapped in see through brownish paper. The candies were in inch or bigger square size shapes, covering marshmallow, with a Carmel covering.

My Mom got treated to Carmellows in her stocking, too. So, the candy has been around a long time. We would buy the candy in department stores, not in dime stores. It was such treat when we got some, which wasn't all that often.

Does anyone remember this candy.
