Roosevelt Grade School, Newton, Kansas

I would love to know the history of Roosevelt Grade School, in Newton, Kansas. The school was located at 701 East Broadway and Magnolia Streets. I would love to know when it was built and when the grade school was demolished and a park was built on its site.

This may be the wrong forum for what I want to know, but I didn't know where else to post my query. Hopefully, someone from Newton will reply.
