Florida Travel in the Golden Age

The other day I caught "Forgotten Florida" on PBS, and I was really excited to see some of my favorite destinations in Florida my home state. Marineland, Silver Springs, Cypress Gardens, and other kitsch locales were all popular hotspots before major highways and Disney World. A few of them are still around, but others, like Marineland, weren't as lucky. If you have a chance I definitely suggest watching "Forgetten Florida". Whether you're planning a trip or not this is the Florida I choose to remember.
