I've posted this before and we had good response, now we have a new set of posters I thought I would try it again, you can see the thread from post number 5127 Dear All, As we all live in different environments I thought it might be interesting to experience each others. When I leave my gate I have six Bungalows where I live then a Victorian House which used to be a Bakery in the 1800s then six 20th century houses which are quite ordinary, after these there is a yard at right angles to the road with six 17th century cottages followed by a large Methodist Chapel at the end dated 1886. On the other side of the road there are 4 modern houses followed by 3 17th centuty cottages a Victorian house then the VICTORIA Public house,A blacksmiths shop [now a builders storage]another 17th century cottage and a row of Victorian Terrace houses,we don`t get much of a veiw because we are in a hollow but we don`t get extreme weather either for the same reason. I am about 1/2 mile from town centre which is handy and 1/2 mile from Peak District National Park which is also handy, but apart from that everything is Supermarkets/DIY stores etc which I expect you all have plenty of.
