Yes, it was an inspiring day. Luckily the weather wasn't too bad in DC area. It was below freezing and windy but the sun was shining. They were few problems, but of course there were bound to be some.
My husband and I watched it on TV at home while trying to thaw out a frozen pipe from the washing machine.
There is something we can all do. It costs nothing and it doesn't matter where you live. Be friendly and polite with everyone you meet. In genealogy we call this RAOK - random acts of kindness.
