I am also looking for Sarah Melville and I also had her as the dau of Hugh Melville from the same source as posted from your followup.
Can you give me any further info on Alexander Macaulay? He was a brother to my grgrandfather. I have him born 1864 Blythswood, Lanarkshire and I am not sure if he was the same Alexander who was a Congregational Clergyman of Middleville. I believe Sarah may have been his second wife as I have him married previously in 1884 with a son born 1885.
Do you have a date of birth for children of Alexander and Sarah? I only have dau Mary but no dob.
