Hi Darlene,
Left you a message, but rec'd no response.
I am trying to find out just how the WALDEN surname might connect to my tri-racial line of WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN as I have come across the spelling for many years now.
Also trying to find the EVANS surname connection and I too,
have been looking into the MELUNGEON info as I have yet to
make ANY CONNECTIONS after 14yrs of research???
My WEELDON ggrands were in NC until 1910 but I fail to find
anyone who knows of the line or hear from ANYONE who acknowledges kinship to them.
I suspect that over the generations, my line of color has
become white.
OUR DNA indicates Indian,Black and white ancestry.
Believe some ancestors were in TN and KY as I find the WEEDEN as well as WHEEDEN and WILDON spellings there.
If you are still researching, perhaps we can find a link.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
