I don't take anything posted on Wiki because people can post and change whatever they want. If there are actual records I would like to see them and I know a few others who are specifically doing research on the early Sephardic Jews. Most of their research is in Mexico.

Even though Im Jewish I have ancestors who are not who were still given biblical names. I have church records on some of these people.

This is one of many names but I have a few Mahalea's on my Tree. Mahalea is biblical but I also read can be Indian. Regardless of what her back round may be I do have church records on her.
