Hello my name is Micah King. I was wondering does anyone have any White,Native American, or melungeon Allens. that lived in Georgia, who owned slaves. I am trying to research my third great grand father Wesley Allen. He was born between 1850-1859 . On the 1880 census he was listed as Black living in Davidson in Harris county Georgia. On the 1920 census his daughter was put down as mulatto in Troup County Georgia. My family says he was tri-racial with Black, White, and Native American. when I look at the picture of him he looked like he could have been mulatto or melungeon. Any information about any mixed or tri-racial, or melungeon Allens anyone has would be a great help. Also please don't send me links about the melungeon diseases or what a melungeon is, if you reply to my message. I already know what it is, thank you.
