A while ago I came across a picture of my great great grandfather Milo Baxter Todd, and my great grandmother Mary Ida Todd. I couldn't help but think they looked extremely Melungeon to me. That side of my family have always been dark, with broad, almost African noses, but they always claimed Cherokee blood, which never was discovered. Milo's parents are Baxter Todd and Martha Jane Norris. I have never been able to find Baxter Todd's parents, and I have a feeling they may be Melungeon, or mulatto... What do you think?
