Anyone who thinks "The testimony was not anecdotal claims" is someone who does not comprehend "anecdotal".

--------------------------

an·ec·dot·al (nk-dtl)
adj.
1. also an·ec·dot·ic (-dtk) or an·ec·dot·i·cal (--kl) Of, characterized by, or full of anecdotes.

an·ec·dote (nk-dt)
n.
1. A short account of an interesting or humorous incident.
2. pl. an·ec·dotes or an·ec·do·ta (-dt) Secret or hitherto undivulged particulars of history or biography

What would you have expected in the way of 'rigorous scientific analysis' -- skin color measurements - hair form and hair color - face width, face length, nose width, and nose length, head length and head width calculations? Or DNA samples?
