donalyn: I have a link for you, in my searches as in any questions arise that preplex, and make you realize you may not be getting the whole picture of your subject of study, to cut to the chase, I found something you may want to read http://baconsrebellion.com/issues07/09-04/thorton.pl I've not arrived at the persentage of fact yet but with other recorded facts a lot seems to be true to recorded documents and real history, not the polished propaganda, that's been censured and rearranged to cover things omitted, however some parts get vague in the writting...enjoy....jim
