Thank you dr. nickens for that court case info, in new england (boston) writings I read concerning I remember something about indian slaves from the carribean, and as you probably already know the indian captive's from king phillip's war were sold into slavery to the west indies and never to be allowed to return to new england, it seems the plantation owners there wouldn't buy anymore because of their surly and violent nature, at some point in time some were to be used to settle a part of the frontier territory of new england, in planning how to do this settlers in that area suggested they be given houses and plots so they could live as everbody else there....at some point in time indian slavery was banned in the new england colony's religious reason's seems to have a hand in slavery being stopped all togeather in the northern colony's......jim
