My mtDNA runs by maiden names thus: Me, then my Mom Callie Dodson; her mother, Mary Nancy Bashaw; her mother Melissa Daniel; her mother Sarah Harris born 1826 place unknown, (died 1854 Fayette Co., Illinois) the daughter of Uriah Harris by his first wife whose name is unknown.

I have my mtDNA results with Lost Colony Group. So far there isn't any matches to me with this group. But there is one at Melungeon mtDNA. Sure would like to contact this person.
