I do appreciate these few anecdotal inferences. Can you provide dates and corroboration? Have you compared these with the abundant denials pertaining to this complexion related exonym and others directed at fpc with the same surnames in other geographic locations?


**FEW** is not the definition of exonym - you can not possibly know *how many times* the "group so named referred to itself as Melungeons''.

I presented evidence they did, in fact, refer to themselves as Melungeons - the DEFINTION is not ''A name by which one people or social group refers to another and by which the group so named ONLY REFERS to itself a FEW TIMES''
