As a rule I do not post my proven lineages for public view...however, I have stated I might post on this board my Claiborne Co., TN lineage with the aim of possibly helping descendants of the 'true' Tennessee Melungeons....who lived next door, and possibly only miles away from mine. However, I have in the past and will gladly in future, share my various lines with researchers who prove privately their connections to mine. I HAVE NOT found where my folks connected with YOURS during any time or any space....NEVER. In fact, I am not even sure your lines are documented...maybe they all vaporized...:-). Lots of 'iffy'.However, I believe they probably had at least a complexion, or you would finally get tired of posting the same ole, same ole.
I found my maternal (new found for me) Patawomeck Indian linages in William L. Deyo's "Brief Outline of Recorded History of the Patawomeck Tribe"....the expanded version, and documents included. I purchased his book. Several of my Indain women married white men....then some of their children married each other, etc....the Indian blood stayed pretty strong for several generations. The Indians from that line came as a suprise to me.Of course, these Indian women had fathers...Needless to say, I am excited to find them....:-)
