MaryE,
You have frequently demonstrated your predilection for imagining scenarios without historic predcedent or the likelihood of documentation. This type of theorizing has been a common occurance among certain genealogy hobbyists researching those individuals historically referenced as "redbone" and as "melungeons."Most, however, simply zero in a component at least hinted at, if not documented, and then promote what seems to them a logical conclusion on the outside chance their preferences are someday confirmed. From my observation, this necessitates dismissal of equally possible alternatives and often ignores historical context.Multi-ethnic renegades from the dissipating back country tribal groups seems more logically inclusive of all the possibilities and requires no diversion from confirmable history.
