I have researched back to 1733 to Absolom Melton b. 1733. He married Ann Fenton b. 1732. Their children: John b. 1754, Rebeckah b. 1755, Garland Anderson b. 1756, Mabel b.1758, Lucy b. 1759, Elizabeth b. 1760, and Allen b. 1769. The line that I am trying follow is from Garland Anderson Melton. He had a daughter Litchey Melton b. 1791 who married a William Amon Melton b. 1780. Can anyone tie this Melton tree to their Melton tree? Also, any information of the William Amon that married Litchey Melton would help. I cannot find anything on him. I am from North Carolina and would like to correspond with other Meltons.
