George W. Melson, shipwright

I am interested in finding out more about the ancestry of George W. Melson, b. Jan. 28, 1878 (supposedly born Philadelphia, PA) and died in NJ (probably Camden)in Feb., 1964. He belonged to Local Union 1856, the shipwright's union. I see a George Melson that lived in Camden, NJ in 1920 who worked for a ship company who is the correct corresponding age, but the census says he was born in MD. He was married to a Martha and had children Coral, Alice, and Margaret. Further, I find a George Melson (1878 - 1964) and Martha (1882 - 1973) buried in the Sharpton Fireman's Cemetery in Sharpton, MD, Wicomico County. There is a dau. Coral, who lived from 1903 - 1978. I feel certain this is the same couple. Can anyone verify this information, and provide anything further regarding the ancestry of George Melson?

Thanks is advance,

Paul Horvat
