Bon Jour,

It is said that the Meloys (MiLoi) left France at different times during periods of Huegenot persacution. Some went to Ireland, some to Scotland, many moving on to America after a couple hundred years. I have never been able to confirm this. Can you tell me anything about the meloys in France. Is the name found there? Would the miloi name be pronounced milwa?
