Patricia,
You don't mention if you need information or if you are simply offering it. Just in case you DO need information this is what I have on John Meloling...

Parents of John Meloling are -

Father : Samuel Augustus Meloling
Born 1780 in New York - Died Feb. 26 1864 in Baldwinsville, NY
Cause of death-Records of the cemetery state that he died of a fit while out in the fields farming.
Buried -Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY; Burial Slip #2635

Mother: Elizabeth Beulet (not confident of this surname spelling)
Born 1789 in Vermont - Died Sept. 30 1854 in Baldwinsville, NY
Buried -Riverview Cemetery (Old Yard), Baldwinsville, NY; Burial Slip #327

Samuel and Elizabeth Meloling had eight children (If you want info on the other children it would be better if I sent you a file at your email address...to much info to put here)
John was their 7th child -
John Meloling
Born 1838 Liverpool, Onondaga Cty, NY
Died ???
Married Anna ??? born 1848
Children known to me...
Ulysses Grant Meloling born 1867 in NY, ?Died Dec. 15, 1888 in Cook, Illinois; Married a Dortha Thomas
Allen Meloling born 1873 in NY
Pearl Meloling born 1875 in NY

I have a mention of a marriage to a Mary Ann Rittenburg in my notes. Perhaps a second marraige. Check out this site http://home.att.net/~ramosgang/RittenburgDesc.html she is listed and so is John. There is more information there you may be able to use as well. John has not been my focus, he is the brother of my Francis Beulet Meloling and I have spent most of my energies on that line. Hope this helps.
Happy Hunting :)

Deborah Colombo
