Joseph Meloche born circa 1820; married Marguerite Reid, daughter of Shepperd Reid and Marie Reine Perier, 15 Feb 1841 at Notre Dame, Montreal.
Children of Joseph Meloche and Marguerite Reid were as follows:
i. Rose de Lima Meloche; born circa 1845; married Magloire Desjardins, son of charles Desjardins and Sophie Limoges, 5 Feb 1866 at Notre Dame, Montreal.
ii. Zotique Meloche, born circa 1850; married Mary Fordham; married Ellen Hickey
iii. Guillaume Meloche, born 1854; married Caroline Levreau dit Racine.
iv. Alphonse Meloche, born circa 1855; married Emma Lalonde; married Elisa Lalonde.
v. Hermine Meloche, born circa 1855; married Hector Demers, son of Louis Demers and Henriette Duveanseau, 26 May 1873 at Notre Dame de Grace, Montreal.

Parents of Joseph Meloche above are Joseph Meloche born 2 May 1782; married Josephte Theoret, daughter of Toussaint Theoret and Therese Ducharme, 23 Jul 1810 at St. Joachim, Pointe-Claire, QC. This couple had 15 children. If you would like me to list them I will.

The Wildfid Meloche Genealogy indicates that he was born "1 Feb 1742"; born 31 Aug 1752 at Lachine, QC; married Marie Barbe Elizabeth Mallet, daughter of Jean Baptiste Mallet and Marie Josephte Primeau, 5 Feb 1776 at Sts-Anges, Lachine, QC; married Josette Lainie 27 Feb 1816 at Notre-Dame, Montreal. Occupation: cultivateur. Simon Meloche and Marie Barbe Elizabeth Mallet had 9 children. There were no children for Simon Meloche and Josette Lainie.
