Here's the latest. My sister went by the cemetery. My Melnicks are buried in Adath Isreal.

It's been some time since my sister visited the cemetery and talked to our Melnick relatives. She had to pretty much go on memory, and here is what she told me. This information should be OK, but we aren't 100% for sure.

My grandfather's stone reads Jack Miller, Born May 15, 1892/Died April 12, 1946. (He originally was Jake Melnick.)

Sam Melnick is buried there. He is believed to be Jack Miller's father (my great grandfather). He died March 29, 1949 at the age of 84. Beside him is buried Sadie Melnick. She is believed to be my great grandfather's second wife (not my great grandmother). Sam's first wife (my great grandmother) is believed to have died in Poland. Sadie died October 24, 1937 at age 57.

Other names my sister mentioned are:

Denny Melnick. He is believed to be Sadie and Sam's son. He died July 10, 1936 at age 19. Also, there is a Joseph Melnick. He is believed to be Sam's brother. He died October 8, 1987, and was married to Dina Melnick, who was born February 10, 1905/died September 7, 1968.

Per my sister, the cemetery is filled with my relatives. The bad thing for me is I don't know who goes with who. Of the names you listed in your earlier post, it LOOKS LIKE WE ARE RELATED (at least through Joseph and Dina Melnick). I wish I had contacts on that side of the family.

Does any of this information match up with what you have researched so far?

Hope to hear from you. Thanks,
