I believe that Mary's father's name is Charles B. Mellott. Louisa was Charles' first wife, as far as I can tell, and they also had a son George D. although I believe there are other siblings that I have not proved yet (Franklin, Stephen). Charles was born in Ohio about 1851/52. I show a marriage between Charles B. Mellott and Louisa Ambler on October 10, 1872 in unknown city, Monroe County, Ohio. If this sounds like it could be the father you are looking for please let me know. The Louisa part of Charles' life is very unclear to me and I would love to clear it up.
