Rob I am Cynthia's mother's cousin, guess that makes me a second cousin. Cindy got info from her aunt who got info from my sister. My sister has since given me all her genealogy info and I have found some of it to be untrue and some that is not linked. Cindy has the info correct back to Hiram. We have not been able to find Hiram's family. But there is a possiblity that Hiram's son, Wiiliam may have had a brother named George. Also it was told to me that Mellott was previously spelled Mellotte. According to 1860 census William and Sarah were both born in Ohio. I found a William Mellotte in the 1850 census in Harmony, Ohio. I am not real sure of his birth year, the census takers aren't necessarily the neatest writer. Darleen
