On the face of it, I would have thought it highly likely that yours is another branch of the same family. But whether you have links with the ERY or the Isle of Axholme only further research will tell, Doncaster is close enough for either to be possible sources. I am not aware of a link yet being established between those two branches though the name is sufficiently uncommon for one to be very probable.
