In Elizabeth City - Weeksville, NC the Eves Family
found a large tin can with some "OLD" letters was found
in a attic while fixing a leaky roof - one is as follows
We recieved a copy of a Jan 20, 1894 letter from
Mary Elizabeth Melick Stecker to her sister Sarah Jane
Melick Eves in Elizabeth City, NC - Envelope had a 1/8"
black border indicating deep mourning - Nathan W. Stecker
had died and was buried in the Cypress Lawn Cemetery and
that widow Mary expected to be buried next to him when she
died - looking for any one related to them or have Stecker
