Hi Kathleen,
Welcome to the Melick family forum. I have just gone back and re-read some of the messages between Cyrene and Suzanne Stewart, starting w/msg #277 and following. Its facinating how the info developed, but it appears that now you have quite a bit of info on your family. Read especially message #306, which gives the lineage back to the immigrant Johannes Moelich, who came to Philadelphia from Germany in 1735, and it even goes back beyond that 2 or 3 additional generations. Wow.
