Cyrena: Have you found any new info? I have an obit that states the death of James' first wife: Mrs. James Melick (Evelyn E.) died 27 September 1951 of 82 North 6th Street. Rev. Frederick Brown conducted the service and interment was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Her parents were Edward and Olevia Ames Dorsey. During World War II, Mrs. Melick enlisted for services as a WAC for 15 months. She was stationed in New York state. Surviving are her husband and son, Larry Melick.; also her mother and five sisters. Another sister, Mrs. William Thompson, is deceased. She was 29y 9m 15d.

She James have a brother or any other siblings that you know of? I have quite a bit of Licking County Melick info but I am not sure which line he's in.
