I am 1 of 3 siblings of the beloved Serjo Melendez who died of Cancer in 1974/75 here in Santa Rosa, California. My father, Serjo was 1 of 4 children born to the late Johnny and Elena Melendez who orginally came from Mexico City and Guadlahara, Mexico. My Uncle Raul is alive and well and resides in the bay area of No. Calif. He is married to Joyce and they have 3 children. We knew that they have 2 sisters one named Zoila and we are not sure of the other name. We have always wanted to find out more about our family and heritage. I just found out that Zoila attended my father, Serjo's funeral with Mike and Louis Jr. Meyer. Me and my younger brother steven and sister kim never got the opportunity to meet them and would love to. If you can help point us in the right direction please email me at: lstone07@hotmail.com

And here is my 2nd Inqury on 1/2/03:
Looking for my 2 aunts named Zoila born in California in 1938 and Armida born in 1936 whose maiden name is Melendez. Their oldest brothers name is Raul Melendez with 3 kids and also a younger brother Serjio Melendez born in 1940 (my father) with 3 kids Leslie, Steve, and Kim from his 1st marriage. He later married Connie. Serjio died at the young age of 35 of cancer here in Northern California.
