This email was forwarded to me by my father. It was posted on his church's website in Albuquerque. My father sent it to me because of my interest and work in genealogy. However, this is a tough one, and can use some help from ya'll out there. I am hoping someone will read this that knows this gentleman and will contact me, so that we can contact his brother.
"Dear brothers and sisters, I'm looking for my brother whom I haven't seen for over 20 years. The last contact we had he lived in your City of Albuquerque. His name is Jorge Alberto Rivas Mejia, he was born the 11/July/58. His friends used to call him George Macias or Archie Macias. I don't know where to start and will appreciate your prayers. I want to find my brother and tell him that I miss him and I love him. We were both born in San Salvador, El Salvador. Thank you for your time. God Bless you all!" (end of message)
I am taking a guess in thinking that somewhere I could get a hold of immigration records or something to help me find this gentleman for his brother. I did check SSDI and there was nothing there, which is good..means he is still alive unless he did not file for SS. HELP! Would really like to tell this gentleman something!
