My name is Luis Mejia (Born in California) I am the son of Jose Cornejo Mejia who like most people from his time (1920's) was actually born in a nearby ranch outside of Yahualica, Jalisco in "Tepetiltique, Jalisco".
However my father Jose Mejia (Born 1925) his Parents (Gerardo Mejia & Epifania Cornejo) as well as his many Brothers and Sisters lived most of their lives in Yahualica. I have many Aunts and uncles who still live in Yahualica today. I plan on visiting December '07.
I am creating my own "data base" that includes all of my extended family for future generations, before we get too big and forget the humble little rancho we came from.
