Hugo would be my Great-Great Grandfather.

Hugo Meissner M2 Barbara Wagner > Daughter Florence M2 Walter Larsen (my great grandparents) > Daughter Arline M2 Helmut Thomas (my grandparents)....

Grandma told me that Hugo Meissner invented Lock Washer. She also told me Hugo moved from Germany > MI > WI > CA

"Barbara made the children promise that as long as she was alive they would have no contact with their father.”
-this is odd, but my Gma told me her mother lied to her when I was having her help me with search and told her something about her mom. Gma won't open up and share any details. This may help me. Gma did tell me there is some family out in CA.

I am trying to find info about the family back in Germany. Any info you have would be appreciated.
