I am trying to find more information on a August Meissner who married a Vogle in Germany. I have a letter dated 23 Jan, 1887 in Serkowitz from August and his wife sent to my great-great grandfather John Vogle who was born in 1834 in Prussia, Germany.
What I know: August was working for Villeroy and Boch since 1868. They have four boys and three girls. One boy died at the age of nine cir 1886. Unfortunatly, they do not give any names in the letter. August's father died during the Christmas season and his brother died either before Christmas of 1886 or after.
Would love to find additional information on the Meissner/Vogle family.
