Shannon, Have you tried the Wuerttemburg Emigration Records yet? There are 6 volumes and any good size library should have them. In not, the nearest LDS facility with a FHC Family History Center will gladly order them for you. The cost is about $3.50 a roll. I found an ancestor in Vol 6 (wouldn't you know it would be the last volume) and itlisted the birthplace of this ancestor. Thru the FHC I was able to obtain the Evan. Lutheran Church records for his little village and traced his family back to the origins of this town in 1668. A kind gentleman there at the FHC helped me learn to recognize first the name I was researching, and then some basic words in German. It was such fun! Like finding the mother load. Everyone in the library was so happy for me as they listened to me squeal everytime I found another one. Wuerttemburg records are great!! Happy hunting. susan
