Hi Lisa
Iam new to all this technology so bear with me Marie Williams has a interest so i posted some information in response to her notice that was on the 7th of this month so if you look it up you read the dates and see if they fit in with yours. As you will see the Meikle's were not always known by this name Thomas Michael was Andrew's father Susannah Frame his mother her mother was a Margaret
Morrison her father James Frame they came from ireland i dont know if they, came to scotland ?Susannah was born in Ireland Circa 1893 and died in 1860 in Bo'ness west lothian . Your Susan born in 1860 Bo'ness was named after Susannah. Thomas and Susannah had three children Catherine ,Andrew and James. James is my grt ,grt, grandfather and the name Michael was also changed on my branch of the family to Carmichael I have the 1851 census for Cadder Garnkirk. Chryston, lanarkshire this is the first evidence i have of our ancestors in Scotlands but i do have quite a collection of info.

best regards

Jim Carmichael.
