Hello Dorothy,
Here I am again..... My grandfathers name was James, he married Maria Cooperthwaite in Scotland. They lived in Lesmahagow in the Lenark area. Seems a coincidence, doesn't it.
Although James and my fathers name, John, are strong Scottish names
Who knows, maybe we are distant relatives from way back.
