The short answer is: may be, especially if you are uncertain that it was Janet, your GG-grandmother rather than a Meikle forebear a few more Gs back into history that was supposed to be an offspring of the Primroses-Roseberys.
To answer your question I would like to learn more of your Janet. When and where was she born? Who were her parents? Whom did she marry?
My wife's GGGGG-grandfather William Primrose Meikle is supposed to have been a son of William Meikle and a daughter of Sir James Primrose. Certain is that for generations my wife's Meikles farmed near Ecclesmachan, West Lothian, on land that presumably belonged to the Primroses/Roseberys at Dalmeny. For more information see my book "Our Own World History" on which the following website provides more information: http//jupacami.net/family/raoul/fam_hist_overview.htm
