I'm really not sure if I got alittle information for you. I have been looking into the Meikle last name and I found some paperwork my father's cousin gave him regarding our family. I have a Thomas Meikle that was born on November 22, 1825 and died on 4/29/1899-he did have a brother named James that was born on May 30, 1730 and died on 12/7/1799. I have that Thomas married Agnes Tuedope in Scotland and that James married Elizabeth Howat in Gustavus Ohio. Please let me know if this has helped you out.If this is correct-I have alittle more info.
