meijer in early times

I'm Pieter de Meyer from the Netherlands. I have discovered that(de)Meijer is a very old name. Goes back to Celtic times. Probably a tribe with a very specific task.
Since the middle-ages the name has belonged to persons that were stewards to European courts. After tht fifteenth century many landowners come forth called (de)Meyer. Offen the heraldic symbol of millstone and fruits of the land are displayed since.
What I am looking for is a verification of a much older symbol before the middle ages, and that is two swans face to face. Is there someone who knows something.

Best regards
Pieter
