Gerlof Woutersz Meijer (Meyer)

I am looking for a person named "Gerlof Woutersz Meijer"(b1841 d???). His parents are Wouter Meijer(b1804 d1876) and Antje G Feersema". They had 5 kids of which Gerlof was one of them. All of them (as far as I know) lived in Holland at that time, but Gerlof decided to move to Chicago, IL (Cook county) around March 25, 1871. He may have changed his last name to "Meyer". I have not been able to track down any of his relatives in the US. Please let me know if this name sounds familiar.
