Help!

I am looking for the parents and ancestry of Josiah MEIGS, born approximately 1772 and died on 10 September 1851 (he was age 77 at the time of the 1850 Federal Census, living with his son Washington MEIGS). I believe Josiah lived in Barnstable County, MA, most or all of his life. He was married in 1794 to Lydia FULLER. Their daughter Lovia MEIGS, born 10 Jan 1802, married Eliphalet GOODSPEED.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
