Looking for information about a Mr. Meigs who traveled to South America in the circa 1860s/1870s to set up railroads, or at least in some railroad capacity. My ancestor, Marcus W. Littell of New York City, traveled/worked with them. I have no other information, but do have photographs of a Mr. Meigs and presumably his spouse.
